Helios3: Integrating solar mythos, sacred geometry and vibrational coherence in design of the name ‘Helios3’
The name of the device emerged intuitively through dowsing with the alphabet. The first letters sensed were H then E then the remaining characters until the sequence Helios appeared. The sound and meaning resonated immediately because Helios is the Greek term for the Sun, long personified as the charioteer who brings daylight to the world. In classical sources Helios embodies radiance and sight, affirming the device’s solar orientation (Markel, 2015; Atsma, n.d.)
The digit 3 was appended for practical (helios.com wasn’t available) and symbolic reasons. Phonetically it echoes free and therefore hints at the Sun’s freely available energy. In numerology, three transcends the duality of two and signifies creative synthesis and harmonious integration. In sacred geometry the simplest polygon generated by three points is the triangle, an emblem of the fire element, which reinforces the solar theme (Geo Numerology, n.d.-a; Geo Numerology, n.d.-b)
When the device name is reduced arithmetically (H = 5, E = 5, L = 3, I = 9, O = 6, S = 1, 3 = 3) the sum is 32. Further reduction yields 3 + 2 = 5 and 5 + 3 (the explicit digit) = 8. In many esoteric systems eight denotes abundance, balance, regenerative power and is visually identical to the infinity symbol when rotated ninety degrees. It therefore conveys a promise of continual energetic flow (Tiny Rituals, n.d.)
The numeric resonance is amplified by the natural electromagnetic pulse of the Earth known as the Schumann resonance, whose fundamental mode averages around 8Hz, since it oscillates between approximately 7.86 Hz and 8.14 Hz. This frequency band overlaps the lower alpha rhythm of the human brain, associated with relaxed wakefulness and cognitive coherence. Aligning Helios3 with this octave expresses an intention to foster environments that support clarity, calm alertness and expansive wellbeing (Nickolaenko et al., 2025)
Contemporary geophysical research demonstrates that solar activity modulates Schumann resonance parameters. Increases in solar flux and geomagnetic storms subtly elevate the cavity’s resonant frequency and can disturb human circadian regulation through melatonin pathways. Reported outcomes include fatigue, emotional lability and fragmented sleep, underscoring an energetic link between solar dynamics and biophysical states (Nickolaenko et al., 2025; Martel et al., 2023)
